(Cost was $23.04 for UPS ground w/ $500 insurance from Phoenix)

Man the UPS Store charged me $42 for that same shipping! Ah well, I got my card and all is well. I need to buy a new game now though. CP2077 maybe now with the patches.

Mine was delivered today. How long did it take for them to send you an email that it was received and being processed?

Yeah, I'm in Phoenix, AZ area, so much cheaper to ship to CA.

It will depend on when they get to your gpu for review/inspection.  Once it clears that then they pull the GPU they set aside for your step up for processing and packing.  Once that is done then if they have space in their shipping alotment it is sent out.  There is usually a day or two once they receive it for it to clear inspection.  It's been that way for the two GPUs I sent if for step up.  Sometimes people get lucky and get the delivery date and ship out the same day, but that is not the norm.  The two I had were at evga for about a day or two before they cleared inspection.  One was brand new sealed in box still, and other was used for gaming for about 3 months.  Once they cleared one was shipped the same day "received" and the other was the day after.  Your wait should be over soon.

One word of advice is if you haven't upgraded the warranty on your original GPU, you will have the option again once EVGA assigns a new serial number to your account.  It is a great option if you plan on keeping your card longer than the 3 years for a very reasonable price.

Does a 3080 from the Step Up come with a 3 year warranty, or does it go based off of the warranty of your previous card?

Step-Up is considered a new product as far as warranty goes.  The warranty will begin from the date you made the purchase.

What? So if I bought the extended warranty I get a total of 10 years when I stepup to the 3080? Cool

I got told, that if you did the 10yr warranty, that it transfers over to your 3080 as new.

What if I never bought the 10 year warranty, can I buy it for my step up 3080 once i get it?
If so how much will it cost?

I'm in the same boat, I think I'll be getting that 10 year warranty, too. The EVGA website says it's $60 for extended 10 year for anything over $500.

Looking at where things are at I have a long ways to go, been in que since February after it taking me months to finally get an EVGA card. Heard they may not get to my month of step ups until October.
