Maybe their deeper pockets will fund faster development.  Waiting for the single-player successor to F4.

Even though the Gamepass has been pretty good from MS  -
In general terms over the years , they have not been a great, guiding force for PC gaming . 
This is all about trying to bolster the Xbox sales / game library to beat out SONY .... so look for all your favorite brands/ games to be even more consol'ized then previously...

We shall see. That acquisition was an unexpected move.

 
Hmm. Does MS have a big plan going on here, or just so much money that they're buying whatever? I mostly get the impression that MS' left hand rarely knows what the right hand is doing and vice versa... and that MS has about 100 hands all doing their own thing, and this acquisition is just one of them.
