The concern to me is that the user's that have the issues most likely bought from Micro Center as they already have their cards. I ordered mine directly from EVGA and another card from Newegg. Both won't arrive until Wednesday. Having to potentially RMA both cards due to a potential manufacturing defect out the gate is rough. EVGA has amazing customer service from what I've dealt with in the past and I believe that they will make it right. Quick turn around for a card might be tough if it is a manufacturing defect though as just straight up swapping the card for a different new in box wouldn't fix the issue.

Does everyone have XC3 Ultra's that have the issue or is it also affecting XC3 Black or XC3 Gaming cards?

Are you using the new 30 series PX1? I can't slide my fan curve below 30% even with "enable custom curve" checked?

Ensure you're using v1.1.0 then click the arrow here twice:

then once you're on the screen below ensure the button pointed at is enabled, you may additionally need to disable the auto button and unlink the fans as seen in the first image:

also wanted to say I have confirmed it is indeed the same fan for me that is happening to everyone else which is nice to know we're all on the same page coil whine jabs aside. I also attempted to apply light pressure to the center of the fan as per recommendation for older cards with fan issues in this forum, but I haven't really noticed a difference in the ringing of the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

Mine is an XC3 Ultra that I got off of newegg. It seems to always be the same fan and same card from what I've seen.

Same situation Hellacious bought one from Newegg and friend purchased one from EVGA directly. My Newegg one is the XC3 Gaming, friend's is the XC3 Black but has not received the card yet.

I got mine from a micro center, I have an XC3 ultra as well.

Mine is from a similar type store in Canada (Canada Computers) and it's the XC3 Ultra I have.

I'm hoping that RMA will be the solution and whatever is sent back doesn't have the same issue. Maybe its just a bad batch of cards or something like that.

I'm hoping they just send a replacement fan honestly. It's a few Philips screws and a small connector sending the whole card back for RMA seems like overkill and an inconvenience, either way I'm sure EVGA will make things right for us.
