I hear that there have a large list of backorders but from what i have been told, they dont charge until they ship.  If you are able to score one before they ship or have any in stock, you should be able to cancel.  May be worth it for ease of mind.

Thank you so much for this! Just back ordered a FTW3!! If I manage to get one before it ships I can cancel, but at least I have peace of mind that I have one on order.

I also see they are not taking unlimited back orders! Might be that they're taking orders for only what they know they have coming which is great as it might ship pretty soon!
