The card would allegedly feature 10752 CUDA cores and 48 GB of GDDR6 non-X memory. This would mean that the next-gen Quadro has 256 CUDA cores more than RTX 3090 graphics card and twice the memory. Interestingly the Quadro would not feature GDDR6X memory technology and the speed will be capped at 16.0 Gbps, the highest frequency available for this technology. Micron currently does not produce 16Gbit (2GB) GDDR6X modules so NVIDIA had no choice but to use GDDR6 instead. There are plans for a higher density GDDR6X module production next year.
The card would retain a 384-bit memory bus though, but with the reduced speed, it effectively lowers the bandwidth to 768 GB/s, just 8GB/s more than GeForce RTX 3080.

NVIDIA Quadro RTX Ampere series has been rumored for a long time. KittyCorgi, who many of you should probably recognize from previous Ampere leaks has been sharing details on the Quadro A8000 (a possible name for the card). He confirmed the card would feature 48GB of memory back in July.

If the RTX 3090 has 10496 cores, it must be slightly cut down.

Lol. I knew it. 3090 is not the titan. It’s the Ti. So once again nvidia has raised the price of the Ti card.

Titan is coming as well according to the same person who leaked the Quadro card.

So I am assuming $2,000-$2,500 Titan with full chip.

Wouldn't be surprised if we got a $999 3080 Ti as well.

It will all be made clear after AMD Big Navi announcement.

The 3090 is the ti. Ti cards have always been 256 cuda cores off of the titan.

3080 has another card coming out that will be priced higher. 20GB 3080 or whatever they call it.

Titan
3090*
3080 20GB (or Ti)
3080 10GB*
3070 16GB (Super or Ti?)
3070 8GB*
3060 Ti

This is the current rumored product stack, with *three of those cards already announced.

We will see nVidia's move after Big Navi is announced.

If always was a single generation of GPU.

I wouldn't be so sure.
I think that there will be something between the currently announced 3080 and 3090. If they don't use the "Ti" name in its title, then I guess you will be correct. Maybe they will call it a SUPER.
The name is just a name. People who say that they think that there will be a 3080 Ti generally aren't predicting its name, they are more predicting its place in the product stack. I agree that there seems to be a position missing from the product stack between the 3080 and 3090.

I don't quite follow your logic..   ..if you're saying the 3090 is not the new Titan because of the OP on this thread, then you must be saying that the Quadro 'announced' here is the new Titan. If so, what is the new Quadro going to be called? In my mind, this Ampere Quadro 'news' only reaffirms that the 3090 is the new Titan, the Quadro is the Quadro, and the Ti (or Super or whatever they decide to call it) will come out later positioned somewhere between the 3080 and 3090.

I wonder if we'll see a card pop up with 48GB of GDDR6X when they start making those modules.
As for if a RTX 3090 is or isn't the new titan it doesn't have the name or 100% of the core count, though it is the top GPU short of Quadro/Tesla right now, so it could be either way, depending on what you consider the key aspect of what makes a titan a titan.
I'm trying to focus on price and performance mostly, and less so on if it has maximum cores or not, though I know it's important to some. (Titans have been out of my price range from the start, so that likely influenced me to ignore maxed out core count)
