Is there a reference design photo of the 3090? The ones on the site right now are just the 3080/70 it looks like as it's missing the 3rd support on the 3090 pictures.

EDIT: Question answered :D

Also, to answer about half the questions in this thread:
  • Currently no pre-order planned.  Similarly, no pricing is available at this time.
  • Like the US store, we cannot generally comment on availability at this time for the EU store.  Availability, however, will not be any sooner than the dates NVIDIA mentioned for each GPU.
  • HYBRID, HC, and KPE cards will come a bit later than the XC3 and FTW3 cards.  No ETA to give you, which is probably your next question.
  • HYBRIDs will be 240mm, except for KPE HYBRID, whch will be 360mm.  No plans for a 120mm HYBRID at this time.
  • HYBRIDs will be 2 Slot.
  • XC3 cards will all be 2.2 slots.  Length is 11.23in. - 285.37mm / Height is 4.38in. - 111.15 mm.
  • FTW3 cards will be 2.75 slots.  Length is 11.81in. - 300mm / Height is 5.38in. - 136.75mm.
  • There will be an EVGA NVLINK.  No ETA at this time.
  • Since I've seen this mentioned incorrectly, all cards are 3 DisplayPort, 1 HDMI.
  • PowerLink is expected to work with the XC3 models.  For obvious reasons, it will not work with the 3090/3080 FTW3 cards due to the number of PCIe power connectors.  Either way, we will have the compatibility list updated when the cards are available on the website.
  • Step-Up will begin when cards are available.  Products will not be listed prior to general availability.  I would expect one of the XC3 models will be listed for availability, but we will make that decision prior to general availability.
  • I'm not sure why people assume bots are buying cards over regular people.  It was a popular reason for why 20-Series cards were always out of stock, which completely ignored literal supply and demand issues (lots of people wanted them, but there weren't many initially).  Yes, there are per person quantity caps for each card.  Yes, we require captcha to login, which is also required to create a profile.  This should help to comfort some of you.

So is the XC3 3090 2 8 pin's just like the 2080ti?  I saw in the vid the FTW was three.

is icx3 really that patented that evga is the only brand with temp sensors for VRMs and memory? Was just wondering if other brands offer sth similar.

I have a EVGA 2080 Ti XC Black with an Accelero Xtreme IV and 2 noctua fans on it and bet that the memory temps could be horrible with the custom cooler and backplate memory cooling.

So I kind of want these extra temp sensors on my next card, depends on the price and availability of course.

I did find it very funny that in Nvidia's specs comparison for NVlink/SLI, they gave the the 3080 and 3070 a "-" instead of a no.

I see 3 possibilities
-The marketing team was afraid to put a no
-It's up to the other manufactures to put them on (is there a precedent for that?)
-A subtle hint that Nvidia's R&D into new ways of multi GPU gaming will soon bear fruit

I am so excited. Albeit I wanted NVLINK. Seems only the 3090 will allow it now? I have two 2080Tis now that work for most games (after tweaking) mainly RDR2

I imagine it's been asked a million times in the 8 pages - but when do we think we can order from EVGA direct?

With 20 series they actually never put NVLinks on EVGA EU store. It was in UK retail and DE retail around mid November. NVlink was first seen on EU EVGA store in Feb 2019. (Notify button only)
Preorder for 2080ti ftw3 ultra started around late september and delivery 3-4 weeks (EU EVGA store). I guess we will need to wait mid November to get NVLink for EVGA 3090.
If ASUS or MSI put NVLinks faster then EVGA in EU retail stores i will be getting their cards. I wont wait 3 months just to get NVlink.

ASUS and MSI put their nvlinks 15 days after release of 20 series
