Hello,

When I launch a game, I can hear this noise. It's not coming from the fans because i put the fan curve in quiet and the noise is the same. When I manually stop a fan, the noise stays the same. It only happens whilst the GPU is under load. If I play a game, the noise will happen. What is weird is that When I alt tab from the game to desktop, the noise is gone, when I alt tab back the noise happens again... Here in the video you can see when I click on "apply" on the OC software, the noise stops for half a second then starts back again (0:35s in the video). Anyone know what this is and how to solve it ?

So this is kind of common. It could be the fan slightly clipping the heat spreader fins. When it’s under load only ever so slightly put one finger above the sc logo and push it down slightly and gently one finger under the PCB and Push it up slightly and see if the rattle disappears

I tried this and unfortunately it doesn't solution the problem. I'm not so sure that it's the fans. When the card isn't under load (when I'm not playing a game) if I go into Precision XOC and turn the fans manually to 100%, I don't hear the rattling noise as much.

Okay then. Maybe the fan rattling when it’s switched off check if there’s a lot of play in the fan or something may have got in between the fans or a cable clipping the fans

When i turn off my video game and manually put the fans at 100%, the noise doesn't happen. at 60% manually nothing.

My I turn my video game on and the fans are at 60%, the noise is loud. I'm not sure it's the fans. I've checked and as you can see in the video there's no cable that is going into the fans. I wonder what this could be this time.

If you have ruled out the fan(s) making the noise, then it is most likely VRM coil whine.

Gotta love that coil whine.

Well, since this card will be going out to RMA because the white LED logo lights don't work, I guess they can also have a look at coil whine. This happened to my original unit last year, and this will be the 2nd time I will RMA the card for this. I genuinely think I must be very unlucky :(
