My opinion... NVIDIA Amper will be much better for investment then Turing.
Turing was too similar to Pascal. But now we expect new powerful and amazing GeForce.

As cool as all that RAM would be, I'd rather take the $100 discount and stick to 12GB... I'm not aware that even 4K gaming needs more than that much memory, and I'm more than happy at 2K anyway. (2560x1600)

My current GTX_1660 Ti might be my last Nvidia GPU, this bigger g-ram is just another way to jack up the price of already jacked prices. I wont be supporting green team this next go around....

Here is one rumor that better not be anywhere close to true --

Even if it's a high end aftermarket version .... $ 2000.00

People bought the RTX 2000 series like fanatics, so I wouldn't be surprised if the next series is priced high.

The 3090 is the new Titan (according to that same article), this is not the 3080 or 3080Ti.  The RTX Titan was just under $2,500, so this new rumor would support a DROP in prices across the board.

Doubt.

You'd think the rumors would get more reasonable as release approaches, but they are getting even more outlandish.

People are going to be hella mad when all these high RAM cards leaking out turn out to be Titan/Quadro and the gaming cards aren't released until 2021.

Yup. Fake news - it's everywhere.

IMHO they will do one of two things:

- Release a 3090, Titan and Quadro all with a full GA102 and 12/24/48 memory respectively.  IF they get great yields of the GA102.

- Release a 3090 with a 11/12th cut down GA102.  IF yields are so-so. Titan/Quadro get the full chip.
