I might just have to get one of these. I know that I can make my rig draw 770 watts from my 1300W SuperNOVA G2, and if I throw a 3090 K|NGP|N in there, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be fairly close to the limit when overclocking.

I don’t see an answer here, but the only difference I have been able to find in the documentation between the G+ and G2 1600W power supplies is a slightly larger (140 v 135mm) fan on the G2.

The Corsair AX1600i competes more directly with the EVGA 1600 T2.

In my experience I've had issues with almost all the ax PSU's, NEVER had an issue with my EVGA 1500, 1600, 1300, 1000's, ever. So, I'm going to have to say that they are a step above value wise, the Corsair ax's.

Same experience for me. Even had a 5 year old gold 750W that fell down an entire staircase and lasted another 3 years lol.
