wonder if it has the stock BIOS on the card ?
 
No warranty ... then EVGA will not service the card

I know x8 is like x16 in perf but i come from a 7800x who was limited to 16x/8x to a 9820x Who can handle x16/x16 and i want x16/x16 ^^'
 
sli 970 is stil powerfull, 120-130 fps in ultra 1440p in battlefield V ( only post process in low)
card OC to 1506 gpu and 2000 memory in h24.
 
I'll try to take the bios from the first car (work in x16) and flsh it in the second card 

Ok I have flashed the bios of the first card ((work in x16) ton the seconde card (only x8), nothing change

I was using an old GTX 750 for a Physx Card for a while and it was in an x4 slot and operating with x2 at idle.
 
Card works fine so as the PCIe speed picks up when there is a workload, been testing the GTX 690 performance and it does a lot better than 99% of review sites claim.
