Hello,

In the past week or so the fan over the PCH on my x299 dark started doing so much noise i can't be in the room with the computer powered on and I'm starting to go crazy.
Please help me resolve the issue i tried everything setting different settings in the bios for the fan, set it back to default, pressing the center of the fan to align it, i also tried to gently pull it, i tried to use a whole compressed air duster can on it, but nothing helped.
Where can i buy a fan like this or maybe replace the cooling mechanism to a water block as i am water cooling the whole system.

Thank in advance

I can upload an audio file I recorded of the noise if it will help, just let me know where

The fan doesn't have a part # on it?

I would reach out to EVGA.. Pretty sure they are 30mm fans, which I dont think is standard... typically 40mm is what is used and can be purchased from places like Nocuta for example.

I didnt read your post correctly... Sorry. I would still reach out to EVGA, I am not sure of the exact size of the PCH fan, but Noctua may stock a replacement for it.

I don't think so, but i didn't really tear down the whole mechanism yet.

Somewhat annoying they decided to go with a 30mm fan, as the smallest Noctua make a 40mm.

I feel you. My pch can too has started making anoyingly loud clicky buzzing noise. I'm going to contact EVGA to see if they can just send me a replacement. I'll swap it out the next time i clean out my water loop. I hope for now it's alright to just leave it off.

Yeah it doesn't need it, the fan is mainly for the M.2 cooling feature.  If you unplug the fan though you can take off the plastic shield so it has better air flow around the metal part though.

Agreed. I keep looking at that fan as something seems to be creating noise in that area and I keep constantly wishing I could replace it with Noctua 40mm.
