Is there anything different / special about the KO edition?

If I compare the 2070 SUPER KO Edition vs 2070 SUPER BLACK GAMING, it seems like they're the same?

They probably are, this is the first I'm hearing of a 2080 Super KO--I knew there were lower-end KOs, but not the 2080. From the looks of it, they will be a cheaper version of the regular cards. The shroud and heatsink are not great compared to a FTW3; they're likely just lower bins of the same cards sold for a cheaper price with devious marketing attached making you think that they are 'new'.

Edit: They actually have specs for them released, it's basically a 2080 Super FTW3 (non-ultra) 1815 MHz boost. Same amount of tensor cores, Cuda cores, mem, etc. with a 2-slot and 2-fan configuration. It will be interesting to see thermals for this card when it is released.

What's the difference between the 2080 super black, and the 2080 super ko? (Super KO)

https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-3081-KR  (super black)

Only thing I could find is that the KO is higher in price, and doesn't have USB type C listed as a display option. (granted it doesn't rely on a mail in rebate, so if you ignore mail in rebates, it's slightly cheaper)

When can I use my eVGA bucks to buy one off the EU store? My old 1070 SC really needs an upgrade...

I looked around and I don't see any retail stores offering pre-orders on this new item in Europe yet.
