Had to whip up CPU to get some WUs to work on, GPU idling away

Came home to find 6 of 8 cards at "ready", paused the ready cards and set the rest to finish. Team default has quadrupled in the last few days and then this new CoreWeave with  50,000 work units in four days I would bet there is some glowing hardware on campus. I will fire a few cards up to fold but will crunch for the remainder of the month.
I do want to contribute as much as possible to all of the projects but I let my oil tank run dry last week on purpose so I can move it. No WU's no means a chilly basement

I think it's because of this https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/fhb5e4/coronavirus_specific_gpu_projects_are_now/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x
Default has had a major uptick in the past couple days.
I turned beta off on all clients and am getting work again.

Completed one very slow and terrible x21 and now it's not pulling units again. :(

So I deleted the beta flag a little over an hour ago, came back and all were still sitting at ready. Went to expert tab and noticed 5 flags that I never added and removed them all on two rigs. All cards immediately picked up work units.

only 4 on this one, two others had 5.

Here I put more hardware online this weekend, but now there's less work available.

Re: Temporary server outages

By the way we're now anticipating the possibility of running out of space.

luckily we literally just setup two new 100TB servers
Many of the older server are only 15T

We plan to offload stuff to the cloud as soon as something can be set up but some preliminary analysis will be required before it's useful to other organizations.

I suppose its good that they have so much support right now they can't keep up with WU demands. My log from last night only shows a few short core22 WUs processed. Absolutely no luck on both machines since about 0530 Pacific Time.

Yes, its nice to see a big increase in participation  except the pain in their bandwidth & servers being overloaded
