NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080: August 2020 reveal, launch at Computex 2020

https://www.tweaktown.com/news/71467/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-august-2020-reveal-launch-at-computex/index.html

if this is true they beat Navi20 out the door, which has an october release date

they will steal any thunder AMD might have had and make them play catch up

Ampere may have 33TF+ of performance

What type of crystal ball you are looking at🤔

The real news, fake news or the fan boy news😹😹😹

well id rather be a psychic than be a AMD fanboi having psychidealic pipe dreams pulling manure out his behind

that means i have a super ability while you are out to lunch(or i presume busy in the outhouse)
such a wasted life

anyways - what you have to understand RTX 2000 line was revealed in the same month when turing came out
that would make it 2 yrs

GeForce RTX 2080 September 20, 2018

sounds logical and something Nvidia would do

and this mirrors what igor said about "when"
there are multiple news stories on this and the RTX3090

i never said it was true i took it with a big grain of salt(in fact i said i hope it's fake) however everyone should see it and judge themselves

better than seeing with those very dark rose colored glass that you can only see AMD fake manure and nothing else

Like i said i have BOTH CARDS AMD and NVIDIA - the AMD card is not even a year old
i try to give information on both - but im being realistic AMD is and will always be behind the 8-ball with respect to Nvidia
specially after AMD cut GPU R&D

Looks like Computex has been pushed back to September due to the pandemic

A Chinese informant talks about 128 CUs, 8192 CUDA cores, 48GB HBM2e memory, 300W TDP and clock speeds up to 2.2GHz. Based on these, the GA100 may perform much better than expected

Many of the upcoming events like E3 and GTC 2020 are not happening due to the COVID-19. However, the latest report suggests the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti will release at the end of August.
The release at the end of August hints to the Cologne Game Show (CGS). As we know the CGS (Cologne Game Show) will be taking place between 25th and 29th of August so it is a possibility.  This may not be a surprise as the RTX 2000 series were also announced on the same show in 2018.

Damn! Will probably want 15K for it though LOL!

Im also thinking the rtx3090 could be a dual GPU card
x90 series have been generally dual Chip cards in the past

so if it was a dual then the rumored cuda cores would make sense - and you would have 10k cuda core card  - with each chip sport almost 5k cores

but this is my speculation - - hard to figure out what is news or fake right now

you just take it with a grain of salt

With delays caused by the corona virus I believe the 4th quarter is a better estimate

With everything going on, I'd be really surprised if they still pulled it off with a release in Aug/Sept. as they usually do roughly.
