I'm looking to watercool down the road and I'm wondering if this is the best 2080ti reference pcb card for the job?

That is the card That I am running with a Heatkiller block.
You will still be power limited, BIOS flashing is an option though.

I have ran the FTW3 BIOS and it works fine but for daily use I am using the KFA2 380w BIOS.

If you get basically any new 2080ti wont it most likely have a newer XUSB FW Version that doesn't let you flash older bios like the kfa 380?

No
Unless my FTW3, which was bought just before Christmas was an old card .

I'm wanting to use an Heatkiller IV gpu waterblock in the future. So I have to stick with a reference pcb card. XC Ultra or FE seem like my only good option right now. Thoughts?
