I've been around the block and back trying to figure out why my LEDs aren't lighting up on this hydro copper water block.

Using Precision X1 v1.0.2
Firmware: 49.F9.68
Firmware: 2B.F9.68

Nvidia driver up to date (V442.19)
Bios up to date (Asus z270e): v1302

I've connected the pin from the waterblock to the top of the card per instructions of the manual.

But having no luck getting the LEDs to work.

I tried updating the MCU (2080_FTW3_E198) but when i go to run it (as admin), i get a Check sum error 0x2F.

I'm out of ideas other than that it's a faulty Hydro Copper waterblock?

Any ideas?

Update: Which is what I was dredding.

6 pin connector for the block to the gpu was loose >.<

Better than not working at all :)

Just frustrated I had to rebuild this loop 3 times :)

The simplest things can be missed and it happens to the best of us.  Glad you got it figured out.

I completely understand when you say you had to rebuild the loop 3 times.  I dread the day I have to do it once and have done it 3 times before with lots of wasted liquid since I don't like reusing the newly drained fluid lol but that comes with its territory as it's always nice to have amazing temps and low audibles.
