If you got no threats, no one below your position is gunning for you. At least it says you've got more out out than them. At a certain point it levels out as new players enter the game and old bogeys step out.
For instance, my threat is 1.9 and 9.1 years away from overtaking my position. And I'll theoretically jump 7 places in 9 months.
I think I understand the large spreadsheet and the colours.
If they are green they are conquests for me, at my present PPD, although it might take years...indicated by the info on the right.
