Thanks to EVGA for continuing to promote Folding@Home - its much appreciated by the community.

This is an interesting increase to the requirements for me.  On the one hand I support the increase as it gets a lot of the bucks folders to fold more and F@H has always been about a lot of people doing their small part.  On the other hand it continues the recent trend to climb above the historic norm (going back 10 years or so not the ridiculous low targets from a couple years back) for required hardware to meet the targets and also puts my available hardware on the threshold of being unable to meet the 30M point goal unless everything goes perfectly right each month (WU selection, no downtime from F@H server errors, no mishaps on my part, etc).  I've always been a low budget folder that started out with a bit of old used hardware and an upgrade is not in the cards (pun intended?) at the moment.  Regardless if I can hit the targets, I plan to keep folding everything I've got through October to at least make it to 10 years of folding at which point I may have to reevaluate.

I don't disagree Troy. Seems really tough to hit that 10 bucks limit if WUs fail to download (for most people) because of server issues.

I thought they'd step the top tier to 25 million.

I started doing the EVGA Bucks folding and glad to see it's sticking around another year.  With my 2060 KO it will be close to being able to get the 30million level each month so I'll probably have to throw a few days of my fiance's 1660 Super at it, but here's to hoping we see a lot more Core 22 WU this year!  Good luck to all!!

Here's hoping the 3000 series comes out soon, my 970 just isn't cutting it anymore, but I wasn't excited about the value/perf ratio of the 2000 series.

As an FYI, we plan on pushing the new Folding Year 13 pages today.  We're working out a few bugs currently, but once that's done, everything will be updated.

Hard to believe that as of May, I'll have been folding for you all for a decade straight, and for the program as a whole for 17 years.

Glad to see the continued corporate support, even if I do understand the grumbling at the numbers increase.

Either direction, I'm here until you all tell me to take off.
