I think I would rather use the Kraken G12 fan connected to the 2080 rather than on the MB, at least that way I'd keep the in built fan curves wouldn't I?
 
So I want to buy a 4 Pin PWM cable adapter to connect to the card.  What is the type of the connector on my card so I know what adapter to buy.  Thanks!

The top photo here is of an EVGA RTX 2080 Super Black PCB..The fans connect to an all-in-one header all the way on the right edge.

I believe your only viable option is to connect the Kraken's 3-wire fan connector to the mobo, unless you wanna start cutting and splicing wires together..Or roll with a fan controller that fits in a drive bay..I don't know of an adapter that will work for what you wanna do.

See I am thinking of something like this.  An adapter that would let you connect a regular fan to the video card.   Does something like this exist, except in this case fits that evga connector on the card?
 

Something like that would be ideal, but I don't think anything like that exists to fit in the card's header..I searched around a bit and couldn't find anything.
