So it seems my CLC 280mm AIO performs better with the Control Flow software actually running, I'm fine with leaving it minimized in the system tray. What I have an issue with is when I soft reboot my system with the software left running, upon login the software attempts to run and I'm greeted by a UAC prompt. This happens whether or not the "Start With OS" option is ticked or not. If I click "Show more details" on the UAC prompt there is some argument "/RestartByRestartManager:<arbitrary ID>" (this isn't there if you open the program normally). If the "Start With OS" option is enabled there are now two instances now trying to run upon login if I clicked "Yes" to the UAC prompt.

How have others dealt with this? I know closing the software before rebooting avoids the issue entirely, it's just annoying.

Also if you enable "Start With OS", the task it creates in the task scheduler has a setting that stops the program if it's been running for 3 days. Can't modify the one that it makes, I assume I should disable within the software and create another with that part disabled?

Try UAC Pass..Works well for programs that always bother you with the prompt.

Ok well if I hit yes it doesn’t start and sometimes I’m greeted with an error if I do. The task scheduler bypasses the UAC prompt and starts it normally after. I’d rather leave it that way I guess. I hope my first post made sense.

So turns out I needed to disable a Windows default option under a privacy setting. Funny how this is the only software that I've installed that has this issue. Breaks if I hit yes to the reopen by restart manager, but runs fine if it starts normally.

Did you read a single post here? Explain why I would want to have this program attempt to start multiple times.

Yup. Brand new installation of Windows, actual multiple installations on a few different systems.
