I'm not use to not seeing an update for so long. Getting ansie.
 
Hope the next one gives us a smaller display and ability to open up where we last placed it. 

My PC with dual EVGA 2080 Ti has No issues with X1 v1.02  ....  saving & opening where I left it
 
 
I did have to "jump through a couple of Hoops" when Upgrading the version of X1 on my Win 10 machine
 
 
When installing ...are you getting several security alerts - generated in Windows 10 ... "blocked program" ... you need to: check "Windows Security"
 
"Allow an App through Controlled folder access"  ---> if you noticed a Security pop-up during the Software's install
 
Also check the: "Recently blocked apps"

I go offline to install, then shut down All background software - yep, even security software 

Never had any real issues/security alerts when downloading PX1. PX1 has always worked fine except for one issue many versions ago but nothing after that.
 
My set up may be different from yours. I have three monitors and like to place the PX1 off to the right monitor. When initially opening PX1 it will always open on the center/main monitor requiring me to move and place it on the right monitor. And despite selecting minimize on start-up, PX1 always opens regular size taking up 75% of the screen (27"). 

my alert was when installing the X1 new version ... not downloading it
 
I Now see the issue is you wanting to permanently tag it to a specific monitor - that is not the primary monitor in your 3 Monitor setup
 

I'd like to see the actual FPS lock work as it's supposed to do. 
 
In all my games the FPS lock does absolutely nothing. 

Was wondering about this on the past weekend.  It has been over 3 months with no word on updates.....

Every version past 0.3.16 still won't launch no matter what I do on my computer and I've been checking every day to see if there was finally a new update, looking for the day I'd finally be able to use boost lock and other features released on newer versions. What is taking so long, why has it been so many months since the last update?

New version is in works, some pretty big updates on OSD side that are currently in testing.
