Looking to OC my EVGA 2080TI FTW3 Ultra, 
Where do I start?
I remember this card having some thermal concerns when raising PL
 
sorry for starting a new thread, im sure there is one out there for a starting point, but I couldnt find it.

1) base line your card  - Max case & GPU fans, sliders for Temp + Power "TARGET" full Right, run your benchmark 3 or 4 times ... see what she will do out of the box
 
[so your Mem & GPU should be +0 MHz for your baseline test] - lets see what Nvidia Boost 4.0 can do all by itself
 
Make sure Each PCIe power port has its Own PCIe power cable ----> Do Not use the "second" jumped PCIe Plug that might be on the cable

I like unigine superposition ( I got 31755).
You could also try timespy.
Both large downloads mind.

So I pulled max PL abd Temp target and only saw an increase of 60mhz after everything was said and done. But... went fro 62c to 71c at full load.

Not worth it

Any other things I can do to manage temps? I’m
