Nah just a realist.  They've sucked for quite a while.  They've FINALLY released some SOMEWHAT competitive processors, which is not a reason to heap unlimited praise on them.
 
Crazy architecture, rapidly decreasing value, poor drivers and bios, etc.
 
Come back when their computers get bought by real people to do real things.

If this is the best Intel can do they are in serious trouble. They are getting their clock (heh) cleaned up and down the lineup by AMD.

Somewhat competitive? AMD has the highest performing CPU right now. And it's cheaper. It's a hard time to praise Intel, at the moment.

Intel sells BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS of dollars of RELIABLE enterprise and OEM hardware every year.  They have their own fabs.  They are TEN times the size of AMD. 
 
Fact:  Going from X299 to a 3900X on X570 is a downgrade.
 
So now AMD leapfrogs Intel's product, ONCE in the last decade, and Intel is finished, washed up, crap?  Don't make me laugh.

Anyone hear that?
