Hey guys , so i recently upgraded from my 1060 gb to This card and i am curious if my temperatures are fine since the more i started worrying about it the more it got it my head, anyway i get about 35-40 Degrees idle and i when i play demanding games like RDR 2  i get 75 Celsius Max , sometimes it peaks to 76 . Is that normal ? I also had no intake fans i just in my case i literally got them today and my temperature changed to like 68-72. Is there something wrong or am i just overthinking stuff ? Thank you !

See: Why does my EVGA graphics card run hot? in the EVGA FAQs.

If your card isn't downclocking to power-saving mode at idle, it would cause elevated GPU idle temperature and you should see Post #4 here for some reasons why.

Your temps are normal and acceptable, no worries.

Pretty normal with no framecap/no vsync on the stock 100% power and stock fan curve.  Can do better with some tweaking.

If you post a pic of your case internals and some details of your setup people can help you dial it in.

Use the on screen display (OSD) in X1 or Afterburner to monitor the card while gaming, also get HW64iNFO or HWMonitor to keep an eye on your system fans, temps, etc.

GPU-Z is also good to monitor and let's you know min/max readings .

I also use a custom curve in MSI Afterburner, it looks like this , i also included a picture of the case. I got two intake fans the second one is hidden nder the first one, no idea why i did that now when i think about it tbh .

Welcome to the EVGA Forums & Congrats on your First Thread

Move the lower front fan above the PSU compartment

Which direction are the top fans blowing ?

One optional improvement --> Use an AIO for the CPU --> Your blowing all that CPU heat into the case

Are the Case fans @ 100% ?

a Better curve is a +10 or +20  --> Temp C +X = Fan %

50C +20 = 70% fan

Cool, can you post a pic in the basement with the lights off on a moonless night with the PC powered off?  Because then we REALLY couldn't see what's going on.

J/K.  Please take a clear pic with the pc off and normal lighting.

RGB doesn't help with cooling fyi.  LOL

The Top fans are blowing out they are used as exhaust fans , yeah i also thought abou replacing the CPU fan since like you said , its blowing all the air in the case.

2 - Fans blowing In [More like 1 fan] & 3 blowing Out = Negative Case pressure ... usually not good for Cooling

Try turning your top fans to blow In

Turn your case 45 degrees to wall & move farther from the wall (6 inches minimum) might also help temps
