I have an ASUS Strix 2080 Ti O11G which I'm planning on exchanging for the 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra specifically for EVGAs flexibility with opening and water cooling their cards (which I thought EVGA was okay with) but my local store associate told me all of the 2080 Ti manufacturers didn't want you opening their cards and thus voiding warranty? Would someone be about to confirm whether or not EVGA is okay or not with disassembling their cards?

Thank you

EVGA is ok with you watercooling your card as long as you don't damage the card in the process. You'll also need to put the stock cooler back onto the card if you ever need to rma it.

We are quite flexible with our warranty coverage on cards. Absolutely, you can water-cool your card with us and it will not void your warranty. As a friendly reminder, be sure to keep all associated parts for your original factory cooler, such as thermal pads, screws, and the heat-sink fan. In the event you need to exercise your warranty on your card, you will need to have the card reverted back to the original factory condition. Good luck in your water-cooling setup!
