My Samsung S9+ has been "old reliable," with no problems. The camera looks like "HAL" in "2001" but doesn't have the nasty temperament lol.
 
Apple is like Starbucks ... "hip to have" but expensive as h3ll. No wonder Apple is a trillion dollar company 

Android does have a lot of lower price point options, though I hear OS support tends to drop a lot faster.
Thought about switching an an android option however, shouldn't have to pay much for a more minimal smartphone user like myself (am I old fashioned or something for preferring a full sized desktop whenever I can, and not using my phone much when I'm out?)
