I was wondering if this is even possible?
I have 2 1080TI's in SLI with 1 Dell AW3418DW running @3440X1440 via DP monitor connection.
each of the 1080Ti's have 3 DP monitor connections.
If it get 2 more of the Dell AW3418DW, I don't know how that would work.
Has anyone tried this.   I would like to be in the 1440p settings not the 1080p setting.

Yes, it will work, but make sure you set your displays up correctly...

Now i really have to commit to it.
I had 3 monitor setup with my EVGA GTX590 @ 5760x1080p but it was long time ago lol. (Playing CS Strike)
I thought I would try it again since I just got my logitech G29 steering wheel setup recently and playing F1 2019 is amazing, Forza Motorsport 7 will be tonight after the 100GB installation file 
Dell outlet has the monitors for $588 each, I will see if the monitor is still available when I get home.

Not realistic for surround gaming.  I had (3) 2560x1440P in surround gaming using 1080ti SLI.  7680x1440 FPS was 30-60 in BF using custom settings.  I removed the center and replaced with the AW3418 and ran focused SLI.  Varying performance depending on game support.  Only running (2) 2560x1440p in extended desktops while using center AW3418 for gaming.  I've since pulled the 1080ti SLI and replaced with 2080ti KP.  I gave up on SLI for gaming.  Certain games will limit resolution size, too.
 
Extended desktop is great, but little support and huge resources needed for surround gaming.  Triple AW3418s will be an awesome worksurface.

just picked up the 2nd monitor, used from co/worker..
3rd and final monitor will arrive 9/20th from Dell, wish there expedited was UPND lol..
 

got the 3rd monitor its a big.. BIG BIG difference from 3 27 in wide screen lol,
all 3 monitors are running 120hz refresh rate

made the mistake of opening a chrome browser in the dark with those browsers 
I will build a new desk to house all the 3 monitors..
