That looks great. Any chance you can measure a X299 non-2 and know if it would fit that board too?

In order for me to make a block for your DARK X299 motherboard, I would have to own it, but unfortunately I can't do it

Don't water cool NVME drive.  It isn't needed, and it will kill it faster.  Bad.  The memory chips become damaged if they operate without being able to warm up.  This is bad enough when you use a heatsink, but really bad if you try to water cool it.  Please don't do that.
