not a fan of social media heavy contests, but I know it's a very popular thing.
Twitter is pretty much the limit of how of much of that stuff I'm interested in.

You can't win unless you enter and it doesn't take that long. I used to think people didn't really win prizes in drawings until I won a Vespa LX150 scooter from Western Digital. It's the biggest prize I have ever won and was about $4600. Taxes on a prize like that kind of suck but are worth it for the prize.

when it comes to entering giveaways, don't enter to win anything, but enter to fantasize about winning. though I suppose that entering is not necessarily required.
