Yea I suspect that as well. Mine died and I had to RMA and as I was doing researching and scouring the other forums, it's flooded with people reporting dead RTX cards for the same reasons. It's also not just limited to 2080 Ti, but even 2070 and 2080. Several people already RMA their cards 3 times and are on their 4th card.
This just made me verify with the agent handling my rma that if I were to need additional rmas within 30 days of receiving my new in box card it would be replaced with another new in box card.
I really can't believe how this launch is going. Been at it 12 years and I've never seen so many dead cards within such a short time.
I wonder if they're going to end up doing some form of second revision.
This has to be killing profits for both the AIB partners and Nvidia themselves.
I have a feeling the next few months in the GPU world are going to be interesting to say the least.
I feel like the price hike is caused by rma rate.
