True but if he bricks is one is screwed as it would void warranty.

If the card has a bios switch like found on a ftw3 card then one could try flashing the 2nd bios.. if it fails they can atleast swap back to the master and not void warranty.

I read over on OCN that the current EVGA 2080Ti BIOS is 338W while Gigabyte's latest BIOS for their Gaming OC variant (also a reference PCB with a 300A chip) is capable of 366W. Is there any reason why the EVGA XC cards can't reach this this level of power draw? It would be awesome if we could get an optional 366W or 380W BIOS from EVGA for those of us who aren't bound by high temperatures. I'm going to be watercooling my 2080Ti XC Gaming, as many other people are also doing. This would be a much welcome option for us. Otherwise we end up having to flash the BIOS from other brands to raise the power limit.

This won't void the warranty, right? Sorry to ask , I know it's official and everything, but I just want to be 110% sure before I flash my 2080 XC.

If it did, I'm sure in bold letter's they'd tell you but they won't officially announce something only to take your warranty away.  Therefore, you should be good to go m8.

after this firmware update, my previous OC crashed at +150 on the core clock. Now I have to tone it down to +125 :(
