Does the EVGA SC15 have an option that allows you to run on AC power only? And if so, how would you remove the battery? I'm going to be only using the laptop at home and don't want to wreck the battery by having it plugged in 24/7.

I believe the laptop is sealed and not intended to remove battery

Cycle the battery for best life.  Never leave it plugged in all the time; I do not drain mine past 15 - 20%

What is the model of the battery and where can I find to purchase a new one?

TAKE OUT THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY, IT WILL SWELL AND DAMAGE your trackpad and possibly other components....just happened to me tonight. PM me, it's easy, just need the correct driver. What heck, these batteries need steel cages like the models from decades ago to prevent this. Only 1.5 years, and it wrecks my $1400 machine.
