Great guide but when using a curve gpu clock, memory and voltage doesn't downclock in Windows when idling. :-(

Idling in Windows work for me when using default clockspeed or when overclocking using the sliders only.

Not sure if this may have something to do with my 1440p 165Hz Agon AG271QG monitor?

Edit: Oh, opening the curve and hitting ctrl+l may help? I am not at home right now but will try this later. :-D

Yep, hit ctrl+l inside the curve & set your desktop refresh rate to 120 hz and then you should be all good.

Thanks, are you saying that I would have to manually deactivate my oc from Afterburner when using a curve if I want it to downclock when idling in Windows when not playing? It's no way getting this to work automatically? GPU oc using a curve really locks core, memory and voltage?

No, hitting ctrl+l again afterwards will make the card idle on the desktop, but when you launch an application the curve should still take effect without having to use ctrl+l to lock the clocks.

Thank you, I will do more testing.

Actually I don't have a EVGA card (I bought a used Aorus 1080 ti) but your guide and knowledge in this area is great. :-D

In Sweden EVGA have a very good reputation for good quality and support, now I understand why.
