I recently got a ftw3 and is anyone else having stability issues with 2000mhz core clock and up

Sounds like a silicon lottery issue.

I was planning on going down the custom loop route, but I think I'm going to wait until the next gen cards come out. Until then, this is more than satisfying. Not sure why I went with bottom intake on the hybrid. Just wanted to try it.

I don't have it yet, but I returned my SC Black Edition and got an FTW3. First build and I'm going all out!

Love my FTW3. Honestly the only thing “bad” I can say about it is it kind of takes the fun out of overclocking it because it already runs at about 2000 MHz out of the box with gpu boost. That’s not actually a bad thing, though. You can still get a little more out of it but not a ton. Mine crashes when gaming at +75 MHz, but it’ll run 2025-2050 all day.

Caught U Gamin
Ok so I just ordered my very 1st 1080ti. I've had the EVGA GTX 1070 Hybrid for about 9 months now and been dying to upgrade. Today I purchased the Evga 1080ti FTW3 hybrid. I'm excited about this and was wondering if this is a huge step up or a slight. Sorry for the Noobish question but I'm still new to this scene all together. Thx in advance

I actually had a 1070 hybrid and switched to the ftw3 hybrid as well. It's a pretty big step up if you're actually utilizing the extra power. A 1070 will be able to handle any game, albeit not always at the highest settings, but the 1080 ti will take it to the next level. I have a 1440p 165hz monitor that was basically pointless when playing games with high graphics settings with a 1070 because I wasn't getting the framerate necessary to make a difference. 1080 ti blows it out of the water. Playing games like PUBG at 1440p, where my 1070 was running at like 90 fps at best, now sits consistently at 144 (which is the built in fps cap in that game, so it's likely a good bit faster than that a lot of the time). Everything is just a whole lot smoother now.
