Yeah, I was a little disappointed that such expensive card and high promises didn't pan out. But at least I can play witcher 3 all maxed out haha. Well under max setting on GTA5 at 1080p and where fps drops do occur its taxing GPU at 100% usage so I think its just a very graphically demanding. But yeah CPU/GPU power is definitely limited the resolution and refreshr ate. Just saving now to get a 1080p (144hz) or more to get 1440p (144hz).

I wouldn't worry, the 1080 Ti is a monster of a card. I play all of my games at 3440x1440 @ 90fps with little trouble at all. The Witcher shouldn't be very demanding at 1080p unless you have hairworks on. I noticed this game got very demanding at 3440x1440 though. Those are two very demanding games so I wouldn't worry too much. How are your other games? The 1080 Ti should be eating 3 games at once over 1080p. I will see if I can crank GTA 5 up on my system as I haven't run it over 3440x1440 with my Ti yet.

I’ve only played BF1 so far on in it other than the witcher 3 and gta 5. But BF1 plays very well at everything maxed out. Will have a go on few more games. Gonna get the new Wolfenstein but I doubt it’ll have trouble playing it as it runs on Vulkan just like doom.
But yeah if you could let me know about your gta5 performance that would be great!

BF1 is very easy on the GPU although some areas and maps do get quite busy. I'll let you know how GTA5 goes.

I purchased one of these puppies, 1080 Ti SC,  and it runs BF1 without any problems, and it runs cool.

EVGA GTX1080Ti FTW3 Hybrid
EVGA GTX1080Ti FTW3 Gaming
EVGA GTX1080Ti FTW3 Elite Gaming white/black

All of them have same PCB and VRM or there is some differences?
I see clock is same. Probably and everything else only coolor and shroud are difference?

The ftw3 gaming card has 11ghz memory.. the hybrid is a water cooled version of the same card. The Elite gaming card is different as it has newer fast 12ghz ram.

Thanks... I didn't know for that.
This card is nice... it's very well made.
It's not like Sapphire or Powercolor models.

Maybe is better FTW3, I mean on FTW3 model with 1569MHz Clock, but SC2 clock is very similar almost same.
But my opinion is most because FTW3 have 3 fans and probably is board and VRM better.
My vote GTX1080Ti FTW3 Gaming (11G-P4-6696-KR).

This is great GPU, no doubt. It's not K|NGP|N but it's not to far.
