It's been two rigs since I've used EVGA. I wanted to try other stuff after building my first rig with an EVGA GPU. I'm probably back for good. This build I just completed....It's my fourth build, and will be my first exercise in building a custom water loop sometime later this year. Everything that can be EVGA is EVGA. Specs in my sig. LOVE the case. I got it specifically for adding water. It's a big heavy beast. It's just what I wanted chassis-wise for water: hella roomy and optimized for side out viewing. Should I ditch the SC2 and getta FTW 1080 ti if I'm going on water - or no diff? I'm only now getting into OCing and having fun doing it.

all depends how much OC u wanna squeeze out of if , Classy is supposed to be coming out , KingPin also promises some super high clocks .  But if you want water with ICX ,  GTX 1080 Ti SC2 HYBRID  is your friend .

I'm gonna try a full loop with a complete housing for the 1080 ti. I'm only on air now while I get parts for the loop. I'll pull the 240mm cooler and put blocks on the CPU and GPU when everything is acquired...I'm not gonna try to cool the ram or mobo chipset. Maybe next build I'll get a formula and try it then. For learning to OC the Code is fine for me so far. Hell, on it's first auto OC it took my 7700K to a rock stable 5.1 ghz. I think I got a good chip in the lottery, though. I don't mind a little loop maintenance. <3

I think that fits too. Thx for the recommendations, the Vapor-Chamber is doing well with a modified fan curve.
 

 
This is the most aesthetic card I ever had with a perfect manufacture and surface feel. I had her over 2000 MHz, without raising the powertarget.

Finished the step up program and received my 1080Ti SC Black...  Documented the send off of the old card and installation of the new, including a special guest appearance of the EVGA POWERLINK!
 
What an adventure this has been!  I never would have realized that the initial issues and subsequent trade in would thus reset the step up clock enough that I'd get this opportunity.  Stoked?  Oh yeah.

Just installed my new EVGA GTX1080Ti SC2. With Precision XOC work perfectly well. GPU : 2025 mem : 5508. Temp 35c idle 68c load. 

Finally finished my longest PC build, almost 2.5 years in the making.

Just got my SC2 in yesterday with the powerlink. Absolutely love the card so far. The whole system is also powered with the evga supernova g2 hidden on the top left chamber :D

Man I can't wait to get mine!!! I'm getting a red ftw3 elite, so first I have to get 100 posts on the forum.....
