same here with moded h105 rad, short tubes, 90° fittings on pump. temp never past 45° in hot day at 1440p. also removed pump cap to preserve top nvidia shroud without plexiglass.

It doesn't get hot here in western WA... year round mild temps and mine stays nice and cool around 40C in 4k... 43C is my peak temp under a Furmark stress test.

It look like your radiator is mounted upside down. This could be the reason why you cannot reach the appropriate core frequency.
