For information purposes which hybrid kit did you get ?

P/N: 400-HY-5288-B1
P/N: 400-HY-5188-B1

???

I used the 5188. The ftw (51288) model has copper fins for the VRM. The vrm  placement is a little different on the ti. I would not suggest the 5288 model

I have yet to pass 60c in game. My fan curve is mildly aggressive with push pull TT riing 12 fans. Noise is low especially compared to that stock nvidia cooler at 100%. God i hate that stock cooler noise.

I have the EVGA shroud and the EVGA plate. They do not accommodate the 1080 ti PCB with out modification (cutting). I could make the modifications to the EVGA plate, but I don't see the point for my tastes. I like the look of the reference shroud and everything on PCB is being cooled adequately.

Sold. Didnt want to wait to use my EVGA bucks ;)...since they exp on the 15th(tomorrow). grabbed a aio kit for $.99 + shipping since you can use it toward shipping

BTW, that cap to the AIO pops off easy?

Yes the AIO cap pulls off with a slight squeeze and pull.

Here is a video of the Titan X Pascal using this EVGA cooler. The Titan XP is almost identical in regards to cooler/PCB minus the dvi port and a few things here and there. He takes apart the entire card for the sake of the video, but you don't have to. You can also turn the cooler with the tubes facing the io plate and remove the cap to put the shroud in place like I did.
He makes it look more difficult than it is, but he is also doing it on camera.

Love the sleeved power cables!  Did you do those yourself?  I'd like to try that on my new cards when they arrive.

Are they difficult to make?
