Below is the New Posting Guidelines for the Computer Industry News Section effective 4/3/2017.  Please read and understand the information below before posting:

The Computer Industry News section of the forums is for the discussion of off-site and user created articles concerning the Computer and Tech Industry. We encourage users to post any computer or tech industry news that they find interesting in order to bring up conversation about the article. We also ask that users try to avoid posting more than 10 articles from one source site during a single day, so please try to diversify your sources.

News articles posted must be from reputable sources; news that is misleading or untrue will be removed. Articles concerning “rumors” or unofficial information may be posted, unless the information is clearly fake. Satirical articles may not be posted in the Computer Industry News section, unless clearly noted in the thread title (e.g. [Satire]). Articles posted for the purpose of trolling other members may not be posted.

Computer Industry News posts cannot be a short comment with a link to a news article.  The post MUST include your thoughts on the article/subject as well as summarizing the article posted. It is not sufficient to quote part or portions of an article in lieu of this requirement.

Before posting, you must check whether the article and/or content in question has been previously posted, regardless of the source. In other words, if another member has posted the same story from a different source, you may not create a new thread. If you should accidentally post a duplicate article please contact a forum moderator, as needed.

Please try to keep discussions lively, but respectful towards others. If you have any questions about content permitted or posted in the Computer Industry News section, please contact a forum moderator.

This section also follows the Guidelines of the EVGA Forums located at: Forum Guidelines.
