  Here is *70 bios in thread. Does *72 bios include Micron Fix? Or I need do install *70 bios for Micron VRAM Fix (but than I'll need to change fan curve by myself in MSI AB in order to avoid VRM overheat)?

I have just bought a brand new EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition, 08G-P4-5173-KR, 8GB GDDR5 and it came with bios 86.04.50.00.72 but it has micron memory , do i have to install this bios 86.04.50.00.70 for the micron memory fix ? yes or no ? Can a representative please give me an answer as this question has been asked many times before and has not been answered. Awaiting a response ... and thank you in advance.

86.04.50.00.72 already includes the fix as it's newer than the 86.04.50.00.70 vbios.

just wanting to double check as i am having xoc not able to use the led visualizer mode on my 1070 hybrid ftw card. its bios is 86.04.3b.00.70 just want to make sure theres not a bios update for it ,or maybe that led mode just doesnt work for the hybrid card?

I asked EVGA about the led, and just had to download the Nvidia stand alone soft ware for visualizer. After that it worked if I adjust it threw there. Which I am glad about ,as I'd rather not RMA a card that hit 2138 or 2126 once the clock speed stabilizes under a load without touching voltage

The standalone led visualizer from nvidia doesn't allow you to change the colors of the card now does it?

I am still able to change the colors threw xoc just the visualizer part doesn't work on it so those settings get adjusted in Nvidia's application

ya a little extra trouble in changing led settings. but much better option then having to RMA an otherwise awesome card. And since led settings was not a deal breaker for me I would have kept it anyway. Thanks for your replys

I've went through the update process, but the Nvidia control panel nor gpu-z shows that updated bios. What do I do?

Anyone know if the bios 86.04.50.00.70 is newer than 86.04.3b.00.70 as this is what my card currently has on it
