I am running a h110i GTX 280mm and the radiator is flush to the top , but I still have some room below the fan and the top of the motherboard about a fingertip width

as long as you do not have fans on the bottom of your rad 60mm is the max on top.

You could mount the fans in the top to save room
i guess

Here's a pic of the distance from the fan to the motherboard

Awesome, thanks, looks like an extra 5mm is there  -- Now its on to determining if using 120mm fans up there will look stupid, it looks like there will be a gap on either side. Might need to go with dual 420mm res, instead of dual 360mm.

Also looks like the DG-87 has an issue with 24pin length? I may need to order custom extended 24pin for my build. I saw manbearpig ran it on front side of the case, and sourmonkey you were able to run yours along the back?

I have and EVGA 1k Gold and was able to run the 24pin behind the mobo tray.

Negative I routed mine like manbearpig and went to the front but I hid most of it in the basement and behind the Evga plastic shield I literally liked about a inch or less from being able to secure it may be able to run it with the ssd tray behind the bottom gromet removed but I'm using that for my boot drive

I'm running a Evga 750G2 p/s

With room to spare, or just barely? In terms of how much cable you had left after connecting.

Actually, I should add more details. >_< With a EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 Power Supply and both basement HDD towers removed, I have plenty of wiggle room with the 24 pin going behind the tray. Tonight I will take some pictures to show.

I routed mine to the back though, not sure why yall think I went through the front.  You can see in this picture all of my PSU cables going to the back with the MB on top.

In this next pic you can see the 24 pin comes out the grommet right next to the mobo 24 pin connector.  You only see about an inch of the 24 pin cables coming from the back.

If I had enough cable length I actually would have made it come out from the farther grommet because I really like the look of the cables.  And in this next picture you can see all of the PSU wires being redirected through the back.

And for reference, I have an EVGA 1600 G2 PSU with their individually sleeved cable set (http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-CR-1300-B9) and the 24 pin WAS able to be routed to the back.
