Almost every EVGA card already has EVGA lights from ever which way you look at it so we really need bridge branding also?
And just like other bridge these don't match the ACX theme at all.
Also the light clashes with reference green lights.

Just make a clean looking bridge.

None of the EVGA GTX 970s have lights which is also the most likely card to be SLIed right now as it is an amazing price/performance. Also, only the reference coolers have green lights, most others have white.

even without light you can still see EVGA all over the place

Then why mention the color of the light clashing with the reference green, lol. That makes no sense, as the ACX has blue.

Nvidia uses the Nvidia symbol http://www.geforce.com/ha...technology/sli/bridges

Asus uses the ROG symbol http://rog.asus.com/39151...15-the-rog-sli-bridge/

Gigabyte uses the gigabyte symbol http://www.hardwareluxx.c...-sli-kit-.html?start=4

EVGA has their logo which is also their symbol http://www.evga.com/images/forum/3-way.jpg

That is a moot point when every company has their symbol on their SLI bridge and all of them have lights. If the available options don't please you, you can do like some users and customize your bridge to your liking, like jbfem did in copperhead 2.0 where he customized the shroud and light color. It really is simple to update.

Other than that, your choice is the SLI bridge in the motherboard box. If that can't please you, don't SLI. Get crossfire, they don't even have crossfire links anymore.

I already have an EVGA SLI bridge that looks rather cool between my two EVGA Superclocked GTX 980s. I run them to my 4K 60Hz G-Sync Acer.

Now, what actual differences would I see moving to this new bridge.

+1 on a 2560x1600 @ 120Hz

For those wondering about "performance gains," there are none. I posted a year ago about my situation regarding using the original PRO SLI bridges at 1440p and 120 Hz. I had flickering/crashing in SLI in some games, and it was due to the SLI bridge. EVGA listened to me, tested, and found the flaw revising the bridge to accommodate more bandwidth (pixel clock). The same is probably true here... just another increase. So if you're not having problems gaming with your current bridge, which you shouldn't be if it's not an old version, you won't see any difference - but you may fare better in the future whenever refresh rates or resolutions increase.

I remember that! I have to check my bridges to make sure they are Rev 2, so I appreciate you mentioning that.

I wonder if there's enough room in this bridge to add my own LED (saw a great mod on older EVGA bridge). Just bought 2 EVGA GTX 970's SC but it looks like they won't support the LED :( Just makes no sense.

When can we expect these in Europe? =D
I have to 980 SC's waiting to get hooked up =D

Also, which model should I pick if I have the Asus Rampage IV Black Edition, the cards are in PCIe slot 1&3, rough measurement gets it to 70mm, I might be wrong though

2 way long, 60mm finger to finger. (top red to middle black)

Slot 4 would be 80mm. (top red to 3rd red)

Are you sure? =P
It really looks like it's 70mm between the slots. But I guess it makes sense since it's advertised as a bridge for when there is 1 slot between... =/
