Hello,

I bought the EVGA 1300W Gold PSU specifically because I have a high load, I measured my exact use with a power meter and determined that my setup requires 50W for bare use (CPU/RAM/onboard video card turned on, idle use) + (4*260W) for my 4 GPU's. My power meter shows use of 1120 watts (draw from outlet) which is roughly 86% of the 1300W power supply. Within 5-15 minutes of starting up my server on full load use, the PSU resets my PC and reboots. When I use only 3/4 GPU's, I tried different combinations of the 3 cards to ensure its not a faulty cable or anything else, so long as 3 GPU's are running, its solid. When using all 4, power failure. I thought this PSU should be able to handle 90% of its rating but I can't get it to work. This model was purchased after the recall date so should not be an issue. Anybody have any ideas on what I can do to get all 4 GPU's working?

Thank you

I have the same one and am currently shopping around for an atx 3.1 replacement.

I just had the 3rd  1300w Platinum series Power supply fail on me in the last 6 months  1st one lasted about 16 months  and died suddenly in July ,  EVGA rma'd  it with a refurb unit it was faulty from day one fan would not work etc  I contacted EVGa and all I got back was  an automated reply  it failed  then they RMA'd it and sent what looks to be a brand new unit and it lasted about a month and a half  last night I was on line  and  it went bang and powered down, pulled it tested it  and its dead ,  installed  a used psu out of  an old pc  the system powers up fine,  I am at my wits end  all 3 failed in different ways  but if I run a 10 year old power supply in this system its working just fine.  I am seriously worried now because I've built several computers over the last 2 years using these power supplies for customers  and now afraid its going to cause me problems with them if those start failing as well.  ( Its not my electrical system I have a lot of highly sensitive electronics on this desk and nothing has failed other than the EVGA P+ 1300w power supplies)
