What KH/s are you at again? I been reading a long and am setup to try this but might not be worth my effort at 1000 KH/s.
I can do up to about 1800 KH/s but I'd have to move everything over and I'm not about to do that for a gamble. lol
Mostly at 1,200 KH/s during the day because I limit the fan speeds down to about 70 to 75% (so I can make conference calls that don't sound like I am in flight on a jet airline). So we are at about the same.
At night, I crank up the fan speed to 100% and let it chug away at 1400+. FYI, I've found all of my blocks, except 1, at the 1200 KH/s rate.

Can you start a pool that I can mine on please? I want to be on a pool with good luck...
+1 idea! me too!
An EVGA forums multipool might not be such a bad idea :D
+1 that be awesome :D
it be best that the evga staff run it though not us.....
and that way it could be programmed to go directly to the evga store site as payment.
As long as someone knows how to implement DDoS protection, it would be awesome.
Hahaha... Well, yes I do run a few dozen servers for clients. I have a few spare Azure credits for the next year free (smaller instances though). Not sure on what overhead it takes to run a pool.
As for DDoS protection, all that is is setting up a high performance router or ASA device to inspect and filter packets. I don't have access to any I could use for this (all onsite in client's racks). But, you get free DoS protection at Azure.
I'll do a little research and see what kind of overhead it takes to run one. Thinking it can be an invite-only kind of setup so only we jump in (shhh). I have noticed a few pools run VARDIFF because "It's less overhead on our server." So, that may be a clue.
It wouldn't make sense to open my wallet up for mining as that would all go do my wallet, and there's no meta data info on who found the block - in case someone was thinking that.
