So I am kinda spoiled here. In my job as a truck driver I visit the same place 2x a day, 5 days a week. So I have a really good rapport with the people at the convenience store where I swap out with my other meet drivers. And pretty much I get the same thing every day. 4 chicken strips and 4 potato logs.
I know, I know. Long winded BS for what I bought today, yesterday and the day before. But there is some happy feels here. The gals that run and work at the conveiniance store will drop a fresh batch of chicken when they see my semi rolling into the parking lot. So 9 times out of 10 I have scalding hot and fresh chicken strips.
Manager mentioned that the locals (small town/farming community) have figured out that around noon, the green semi will be pulling in and there are fresh and hot chicken strips to be had.
So. Purchased today. Chicken strips, potato logs and a crispito.
