The shroud could be soggy spaghetti for me, I just want that sweet sweet waterblock action.  (No news, not looking hopeful)

If there is ever going to be a 3090 Ti KingPin block at all, it would appear that the only one would be an EVGA Hydrocopper, and there is zero confirmation (that I'm aware of) that even a KPHC block will ever happen, unfortunately. That's why I'm waiting on EK for the 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra block (which they confirmed is coming) ...and waiting...

My 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra is still in the box unopened, but not sure I can wait much longer, I might just have to go ahead and rebuild with a CPU only loop soon ..it's been a while since I've had an air cooled GPU.

You could always go old school and hope the dimensions of the sockets are the same as before and slap a universal waterblock on there and add some heatsinks on the VRAMs with some fans blowing on the PCB.  I mean worst case scenario and aesthetics aren't of importance of course.

I canceled my 3090 ti kpe notify. My 3090 ti ftw3 is doing a great job. 668w on 1.1mv is no joke. Hahaha.

That's some sick value going on there.

Is Kinping 3090ti going to be realeased just a few week before the 4090 ? Looks like 40s series is planned for mid-July

Why are you saying July 2022 for the 4090? That is a complete fabrication - almost sounds like you're trying to troll with the "thumbs up" at the end, considering you've posted this in a couple of threads related to the 3090 or 3000 series. Almost everywhere I've seen has reported late September for the initial 4000 series release at earliest, and that would not include the 4090. Historically, Super/Ti models come out later, and much later still the XX90 equivalent, for example:

3080 release date: September 17, 2020
3080 Ti release date: June 3, 2021
3090 release date: September 24, 2021 (a whole year later)
3090 Ti release date: March 29, 2022

The only article I've found that proposed the earlier release date (with a total click bait title of course) at Computex later this month, but in the very same paragraph said it was highly unlikely because Jensen is not presenting at Computex this year, and he has announced every new generation of gaming and data center GPUs for as long as he's been there. So basically some dipshirt made up a story and posted it with acknowledgement is was likely complete crap, but clearly did it for clickbait, and now you're here saying "4090 planned for July!" - total bs.

edit: just realized you posted a week ago that you're planning a Z690 KP mobo with 2 x 3090 Ti KP in SLI, and now you post this? Certainly sounding trollish...

3090 came out September 24 2020, just a couple weeks after the 3080.

That said, I highly doubt we'll see any new cards in April. September is probably when we'll see be cards.

Yeah already posted on another thread, wrong date, my bad. I'm more frustrated with these click bait articles seemingly trying to outdo each other with unrealistic claims based on 'sources'.

I know. It drives me insane. Fake performance estimates, fake release dates. My Google feed is littered with them.

is it clickbait tho? rumors from people who have a history of accurate leaks are worth considering when it comes to a $3000 purchase, at least for me personally

as for fake release dates, if the timeline says it can be ready for production launch by July, would you really be surprised? after all, it is clear the Ti PCBs will be used in the 40 series, so swapping the core and memory is not difficult. most of the lead time comes from driver r&d and pcb design. if they managed to cut most of that effort out by applying it to the 30 series Ti skus, it seems reasonable they could launch a couple months early.

i don't see how that's trolling at all. do most of y'all not check the videocardz posts daily? always a good skim if you're not following the direct sources on socials already

There's a couple of threads with this same discussion lol, so I already said sorry on another one, just frustrated with the click bait, and yes, I consider these click bait when the titles often make claims like '40 series release in July!!!' then the content tones it way down. That's pretty much what click bait is. I don't check videocardz.com/newz daily, or wccftech, mainly because so often they can be wildly inaccurate, at least until the 'real' release date comes closer. I would be very surprised if the 4090 is released in July. Very. I believe the chips are different between the 4090, 4080 and 4070 this time, rather than having the same chip with restrictions, and in my mind having different chips may end up delaying things. Time will tell though.

yeah the posts are tagged as "rumor" so of course you have to temper your expectations, but the same sites are where the sources share white papers, pcb diagram leaks, etc so they have substance much of the time. as we saw with the 3090Ti timeline, things get delayed so it is very fluid imo

but even if it's september, i'm going to have a tough time making a choice on the Ti if the queue doesn't start shipping cards this week. once June hits I imagine there will be a very low demand for anything 30 series in the 3090+ price tier
