Yes I ordered the 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra.. not sure I should have, it was definitely a very expensive impulse buy (fortunately I had some EVGA Bucks to lessen that impact). I hope the EK block is not too long a wait. If a 3090 Ti K|ngP|n Hydrocopper comes out, I'm probably gonna go outside and scream loudly, lol... but the fact that this batch of FTW3 Ultras were binned is really what flipped me in the end (along with EK confirming a block for it).
 

Yeah when I got the notification so quickly I was tempted.....but held off.
btw...the expected shipping date from EK for the new Vector 2 Block was the end of this month.....would think likely not see a Block for 3090Ti for at least a few months...

Im just speculating based upon EK announcement of Vector 2 Block to actual shipping date.....I pre-ordered the Vetor 2 about a 6 weeks ago with "expected availability" end of April....so now they have to go back and engineer / fabricate a new Vector 2 compatible with the new pcb.....I would guess end of May maybe?
 

Regarding block installs, did anyone see the 3090 ti FTW3 teardown on Gamers Nexus?  Looks like they used thermal pads instead of that putty.  Will hopefully make for easier removal of the stock cooler.

That's good news as the puddy can make it more difficult seperating the PCB from the cooler and can be messy.

Speaking of Kingpin knowledge:
Does anyone know if the 3090ti Kingpin hybrid is going to have the same cold plate mechanism (two separate copper cold plates aligning through thermal paste) as the 3090 kingpin and FTW3 hybrids already do?
Or is EVGA going to make the hybrid copper plates like the Asus Strix LC? Which has only one copper cold plate for both the GPU and VRAM.

i don't think anyone who hasn't signed an NDA can answer this yet. once the card arrives and they're allowed to post a review/pcb breakdown, i'm sure we'll see it.
