I am very impressed with my FTW3 Ultra. It’s holding 2205-2220mhz and +1500mhz memory in benches like PR and Super Position with the stock air cooler. Imagine this thing under water.

I put in for the KP but might skip it with 4000 on the horizon. By the time a block arrives I can’t see it being worth it.

Oh wow.. and I just got an email to purchase the 3090 Ti FTW3.. man.. and EK have confirmed they are doing a block. Damn I'm tempted, seeing as how there doesn't appear to be a KP block coming out.

I've thought about it too...I really hate the idea of having an aio in my system...still on the fence...currently only registered for the 3090 Ti KPE Hybrid.  Good luck with your decision.

I removed myself from the 3090 Ti KP Hybrid queue when it seemed apparent that nobody is going to do a block for it. I didn't spend hundreds of dollars on eq for a full loop just to put an AiO in there. If this first batch of 3090 Ti FTW3's are binned, that might just push me over the edge...  or I could wait for the 4000 series.. but the eventual 4000 series KP Ti with a block could be 18+ months away, or possibly never. First World problems lol. 
 

This is exactly my issue.  New z690 kingpin system but there is no block for the new kingpin...  Like you said, I guess I could just air cool the whole thing but it seems wrong.  Did you get the 3090TI?

Also me, I have 1500 $ worth of water cooling parts and got on the KPE Ti train but I have a EVGA block for now that only fits the card I have, decisions...

I'd stick with the devil you know. The delta between 3090 and 3090 Ti...especially with the 40 series around the corner...seems like a good amount of downside with limited upside....

I've sent an inquiry to EKWB to see if they are planning to make a block - I asked specifically about two models:

• EVGA RTX 3090 Ti K|NGP|N HYBRID 24G-P5-4998-KR (since at this point there does not to appear to be any other KP model besides the hybrid)
• EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 ULTRA 24G-P5-4985-KR

If I get a response, I'll post it on this thread.

Yes I ordered the 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra.. not sure I should have, it was definitely a very expensive impulse buy (fortunately I had some EVGA Bucks to lessen that impact). I hope the EK block is not too long a wait. If a 3090 Ti K|ngP|n Hydrocopper comes out, I'm probably gonna go outside and scream loudly, lol... but the fact that this batch of FTW3 Ultras were binned is really what flipped me in the end (along with EK confirming a block for it).

If ftw3 ultra is holding 2200+mhz - wow.  Might sway most away from waiting for KP - as it will available only likely just before the 4xxx announces--->  Although I guess the target for KP will buy irrespective of compelling practicality :).
