I was going to go W-3175X, but ended up getting caught up in bad ebay deal, which took a month to resolve. So I ended up going with a W-3265 (which isn't overclockable, but will suit my purposes fine). I picked one up off a guy that was going to use it to upgrade his Mac, but changed his mind and went with Threadripper.
Tray-unused, open box, and I got it for $1280.
That's once massive CPU. lol
Also, sorry to hear about your troubles with the bay.

I can't wait to get my hands on it! The only question to me is: how easy will it be to get one?
Usually, high prices are a deterrent for a lot of buyers. But with the craziness that is going on with the RTX cards, some people have been spending a lot more than usual. So this situation scares me a bit... And I seriously do not want to buy the Kingpin on a secondary market...
Last time EVGA released the 2080 Ti Kingpins on launch IIRC and correct me if I'm wrong was with Elite Members first before it was sold to the general public. I wouldn't be surprised if they add them to a que system as well so with that said, I think your odds are looking good overall.
