Your post prompted me to post as you've seemed to have gotten a very good sample. My ambient is lower than yours, at 68F. I've got my card on the LN2 BIOS, PL and Voltage sliders maxed, +90 on the core (any higher and it'll crash) and +1000 on memory with the fans at 100%. Peak GPU Temperature was 65.7C, peak Hot Spot was 80.6C, and peak Memory Temperature was 76C. Core clock held at 2160MHz (did not go any higher), peak board power draw was at 498.9W. GPU-Z says the PerfCap Reason is VRel. VOp. Not sure what else I can do, just part of the silicon lottery I suppose. Just unfortunate as my 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra is faster.

It might need a repaste and redo thermal pads. 65C is hot for 68F ambient room air. ARe you running the fans at 100% I don't see any benefit running the LN2 clock position. All I notice is the PCB fan shuts off unless you manually set the speed in PX1. Even with "Normal" position mode and using the auto fan curve, I got nowhere near 65C during tests. That's why I am thinking thermal paste. As I mentioned prior, I wish the Asutek pump speed and water temp was accessible to ensure that AIO is working properly. You also might want to check if all the screws in the back are torqued down properly. Even a 1/4-1/2 of a turn with more clamping force can improve heat dissipation. Could be silicon lottery or could be your card was assembled on a Monday or Friday on the production line. :-)

well well well

Looks like a fresh OS has me with egg on my face after all. Stock no OC after fresh w10:

more in a bit :)

Much better than your first non-OC run. I hit 15022 first non-OC run and my card seems to have good silicon lotto based on my OC results I posted earlier. Your 5.4Ghz OC CPU though is helping you out with the higher score compared to my mild 5Ghz. :). I'm interested to see your results and if they line up with mine.

PR 15722
temps in high 50s; boosting 2220; mem +1225/core +134 with a bit of voltage and fresh os

will tinker with clocks to see if i can gain a bit but i spent a decent amount of effort finding things the other night so next up may be SLI...then LN2

12900KS does do 5.4-5.5 on this cooling setup without any hesitation. Getting the ring0 error before I ran the benches so I didn't bump it to 5.5 in eleet. For PR it really doesn't make much difference. What are you using to cool your 12900K?

Drawing a max of 596w now sheesh

Jesus. My 15666 run was like 482w max.

What memory do you have, Samsung or Micron? I have Micron and can't go past +960 pn PX1 without artifacts or system crashing just right after hitting "APPLY" in PX1 and even with 0 Core offset. I have Micron. My other 3090's were Samsungs and had no issues pushing them to 1400+  mem offset in PX1.

I am using the EVGA CLC 360 for now with Noctua NF-A12x25 Chromax fans replacing the loud EVGA ones. I don't want to put much effort on this Gigabyte Aorus Master Z690. It has the power but I received my Z690 Dark KP motherboard the same day the 3090ti KPE. It's still sitting in the corner unboxed as I am mocking up my new open air frame I am buidling for this rig. Everything is sitting on a nighstand table at the moment. LOL.

just over 23K graphics, looks like this will do nicely for a cold victim

first card is micron, i doubt they used a mix of chips for this small run of 3090 ti's - have others seen samsung chips in their Ti KPEs?

forgot to enable HT, little better https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/77435446

you're going to love the z690 dark, it is a very nice board for a bench setup. with how little action my daily sees, i can't imagine locking it away in a case where it would see little to no tweaking. have run a bunch of cold sessions on this board and it just incredibly capable and easy to manage. a great starter board for anyone looking to dabble in xoc for sure

I thought all GDDR6X was Micron. I just checked the kingpin bios at techpowerup and it only lists Micron for supported memory. I haven't seen any bioses list Samsung for GDDR6X I don't think.
